Which Gas Stove is good, a 4-Burner or a 2-Burner or a 3-burner?

The gas stove is an essential kitchen appliance like others, especially in an Indian household. Technology has developed to this extent that it has increased the options for gas stoves from few to many.

And it is obvious that we want to buy a gas stove that fits in our budget and meets our requirements.

But finding an ideal gas stove whether it is a 2-burner or a 3-burner or a 4-burner that meets your expectation, is not an easy task, how are you going to decide which Gas Stove is good, a 4-Burner or a 2-Burner or a 3-burner?

2-Burner Gas Stoves

The reason why a 2-burner gas stove becomes the best choice for you is that it is a very efficient gas stove and is way cheaper than the other two types of gas stoves.

A 2-burner gas stove is best for a small kitchen as it takes up very little space in the kitchen due to its small size.

The small and compact size of this stove lets you carry it around anywhere you want to use it. In the start, there was only stainless steel 2-burner gas stoves.

But, nowadays they also come with toughened glass on the top with an auto-ignition feature making it even more efficient.

The only con of a 2-burner gas stove is that it has only two burners which means you can cook only two dishes at a time.

Which gas stove is good, a 4-burner or a 2-burner, or a 3-burner?

There are some factors that must be noted while buying a gas stove for yourself which are listed below:-

 (1) How fast do you want to cook?

The fact is that if the number of burners increases it also increases the efficiency of the gas stove as it definitely saves your time. So, for a 2 burner gas stove, until and unless the current two dishes are cooked fully you have to wait to cook your third dish.

Here, a 3-burner and a 4-burner stove get the upper hand as you don’t have to wait to cook the third dish if the first and second are cooked.

(2) What do you cook?

Normally, in an Indian household rice, dal, roti, and sabzi are cooked. So for normal conditions, a 2 burner gas is the best choice for you as it is relatively cheaper than others.

But if you cook more meals at a time like breakfast and lunch together or big meals for the house warming party or for some sort of gatherings or something like that, you can consider buying a 3-burner or a 4-burner gas stove.

(3) For whom do you cook?

For a family of 4, a 2-burner gas stove is enough. Having more burners doesn’t guarantee efficient use every time.

Even if you have a four-burner gas stove, you will rarely be using the other two burners.

So, for a family of four members, a 2-burner stove has an upper hand.

But you can consider buying a 3-burner or a 4-burner gas stove if you have a big family or if the family members are always in hurry.

(4) How much safety do you want?

The more the burners, the less safe it becomes. The probability of getting hurt increases with the increase in the number of burners.

For 3 burners and 4 burners, if more dishes are cooked simultaneously and if unknowingly your skin touches hot vessels you seriously might get hurt.

So, here a 2-burner gas stove becomes the safest choice but if you are comfortable and can manage, in that case, you can go for a 3-burner or a 4-burner gas stove.

(5) How much space do you have?

For a 4-burner gas stove, you need at least 3 feet or more of space in your kitchen to place the stove.

But a 2-burner or a 3-burner stove can be considered buying if you have space less than 3 feet.

One more point that must be noted while buying a gas stove is the spacing between the burners.

Some brands provide gas stoves with very little space in between the burners that the utensils don’t fit.

CONCLUSION

So, that was an article about ‘ which gas stove is good, a 4-burner or a 2-burner or a 3-burner?‘.

The conclusion is, at the end of the day, buying a gas stove totally depends on you, your requirement, and your situation.

We hope that this post helped you know the situation in which you are and which type of gas stove will be best for you.
